Idaho Community Hall of Fame Members

 

Liz Montgomery, Post Falls, Idaho. Winning Benefactor: Liz is the Executive Director for the Inland Northwest SIDS/SUID Foundation. She has spearheaded awareness and education surrounding Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and has provided loss counseling for hundreds of families that have fallen victim to this terrible syndrome. Liz has seen a lot of success due to her selfless work. Recently, she has been appointed the director for SIDS Education for the entire state of Idaho and is now publishing programs that will be utilized in hospitals on a national level. She is truly a winner, and a star that now shines brightly across the nation. By Josh Weeks

Tina Fey, Boise Idaho. Winning Educator: An average, local woman who donates her personal time to conduct a class called “Healed and Set Free” twice a week. This class is for women who have had traumatic experiences throughout their life, and are looking to their faith to move past them. She coaches, supports, and teaches these women how to overcome their fears, and to look at what life has to offer. She has changed many in this process, and continues to donate time, energy, and faith to the women in our community that so badly need it. By Jennie Findling

Toni Gillette, Boise Idaho. Winning Citizen: Toni started, and organizes, the Idaho International Film Festival every year here in Boise. This is a project that she works on all year round to bring diversity, culture, and recognition to the Boise area. By Jennie Findling
